If you’re visiting this blog for the first time ever, you might be wondering why it is named as Down The Wicket 2.0 when you have not heard of any kind of version for the past decade on Internet.
In this era of YouTube, Instagram and Twitter, I do believe that there’s still a space of the old school blogs.
Coming back to the topic, it all started and ended like this.
In 2010, I came up with an idea to write opinion pieces, reviews and previews on Cricket on Internet and hence, Down The Wicket , a normal conventional cricket blog was born.

The blog worked well for 3 Years, attracted good number of readers until one sudden day, it all ended. The domain got stolen, dropped and Down The Wicket was also gone forever.
It took me so many years just to wait for it to be dropped back so that I can pick it up again. One fine lucky day, 10 Years Later, I got the opportunity to get it back.
That was the moment, I decided to reclaim, revive and rejuvenate the lost journey. Although, almost after a decade, the cricket is Different, the Internet is Different and so is the audience, the soul in old school cricket lovers is still the same.
So here it comes. the version 2.0 of DownTheWicket. This time is not going to end…
