It isn’t a shocking news that Sachin Tendulkar and M.S Dhoni are dropped from the Zimbabwe series but there may be some shocking results of this. First impression of this says that Zimbabwe is not a toughest team to play with and hence this won’t matter much but if looked from another angle, one can see that there may be some bad effects of this. In Absence of Sachin in T20 WC, Indian players can be seen with lack of confidence and now in the absence of Dhoni also in the Zimbabwe series, players may lose confidence and may not be able to handle the situation correctly.

Though there are some other senior players like Zaheer, Harbhajan, Gautam and Sehwag but the presence of Sachin & Dhoni can improve the condition of the team at higher level.

Zimbabwe is not too good in cricket but it cannot be said on the bases of stats because in cricket anything can happen and any time.

As usual, the talents are always hidden. In year 2009, we already know the shining players like Dhoni, Dilshan, Akamal, Sachin, Yuvraj, Ponting, Johnson and few more as they are always in the daily news articles. There is no doubt in their achievements in year 2009 but there is a man who hasn’t been noticed by the people. He is none other than Raymond William Price of Zimbabwe who has taken 44 wickets in year 2009 and is at No. 2 in the tables after Australia’s Johnson.

Since Zimbabwe is not considered as a tough cricket nation but still Ray Price has impressed by his bowling. This 33 years old bowler has made the Zimbabwe cricket proud of something which they can only dream. He averages 20 in year 2009 which is really impressive.
