Can anything be worse than this? DDCA or you can say “Disgrace Deluder Corrupt Association” has finally proved this in today’s AGM. The meeting was regarding the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium’s fate. Kirti Azad, the former Indian walks out of DDCA AGM as he was insulted badly. He has said that the other members who raised the questions were humiliated and were pressurised for biased voting. He has also said that he was manhandled by the members. Sunil Goel, another member of DDCA also said that he was pushed when he tried to keep his opinion.

The former Indian player and the chairman of DDCA has denied all the charges and said that the meeting went silently.

What could be the meaning of “silently”? I have no doubt in calling India as “Incredible India”.

After the 5th ODI between India and Sri Lanka was abandoned, the future of Feroz Shah kotla stadium is leaning towards the end of the stadium. The match was abandoned as the pitch was called “dangerous” by the Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakara.

ICC has said that the fate of the stadium will be decided within a month. Along with this, the BCCI has also declared that Delhi won’t be hosting any matches of the ICC World Cup 2011.

It’s really a shame for the Indian Cricket as one of the oldest cricket grounds is losing its international recognition.
