A small but effective tip for a fielder:

“While taking the catches near the boundary line make sure that you are at least one meter distance from the rope and you are not stretching your body backwards too much. This can make you when when you’ll try to catch the ball. Stand on your position, look the ball carefully and then jump in a bit forward direction towards the ball.”

If you want to see a demo, try to think of David Hussey’s catch in IPL 2010. You’ll definitely get the basic idea.

A tip for the Batsman

“Whenever playing a backfoot shot or pull shot make sure you don’t hit the ball to early. Wait for the ball to reach the half pitch and then prepare yourself to hit a backfoot shot. Hitting early will simply result the ball touching the edge of the ball.”

It will surely help only if you’ll able to understand what is written above.

Tip of the Week #1

The new idea, a tip for the cricketers every week.

“Starting with the bowling, whenever you want to try a Yorker, just make sure your run-up is not too fast as you may lose balance and your bowling length may be increased and it may result as a full pitched delivery. Make sure you don’t rotate your arm completely otherwise it may turn the delivery as a bouncer.”

That’s really n00bish but still may be helpful!
