Twitter on Sachin Tendulkar

You may be surprised that why it’s “Twitter on Sachin Tendulkar” instead of “Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter”. There is a very funny reason. It’s not even 2 days when Sachin opened his Twitter account and made a very small shout and he has got around 180,000 followers. The most amazing thing is he is getting around 30 new followers “every second”. It seem Twitter has climbed on Sachin Tendulkar and he might have to take out some time to reply to tweets.

I hope he’ll be the man with most number of followers. That’ll probably add one more record in his records. Sachin is tweeting at http://www.twitter.com/sachin_rt

End of Pakistan Cricket?

Not shocking but still amazing to see PCB banning half of their team. PCB issues a lifetime ban on Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan. It’s a bit different from “lifetime achievement” award given to these great Pakistani players. Other than this, Shoaib Malik, the smart Afridi, Akmal brothers, Rana are also punished with limited ban and are asked to empty their pockets.

All this was because of the Match Fixing against Australia. That obviously reminds about “Afridi tasting ball” and “Akmal fumbling ball”.

As a summary, its the end of Pakistani cricket and one of the greatest batsman of Pakistan team.

A Ball a Day keeps Cricket Away

Shahid Afridi Tampering Ball

Just like Doctors say “An apple a day keeps doctor away”, cricket always says the same thing. In the last ODI between Pakistan and Australia, Afridi was caught tampering the ball with his mouth. According to laws of cricket, tampering ball is a serial offence. Afridi is banned for 2 T20 matches.

The most embarrassing thing was to see a captain of a team violating the laws of cricket. Does he deserve to be a captain?

During the press conference, Afridi admitted his fault and said : “I shouldn’t have done it. It just happened. I was trying to help my bowlers and win a match, one match”.

I am sure people must be chanting “Ban Ban Afridi”!

The Indian “Pollard” League

Players For Sale

The IPL3 auction has probably made an amazing change in the teams. The most amazing thing is that a young West Indian cricketer was most expensive in the whole auction. He is none other than Kieron Pollard, the young West Indian bomb. With his impressive performance in last year, he definitely deserve this bid.

Another expensive player was Shane Bond, who has just returned from ICL to International cricket. Shane Bond may change the scenario for Kolkata Knight Riders. King Khan has finally bought a good bowler for his team.
